Prenatal Groups
In addition to your regular appointments and our 5-week childbirth preparation series, we encourage our clients to also attend prenatal groups. These groups – exclusive to Babymoon Inn clients – are designed to ready the mind, body, and soul for birth and parenting.
Healthy Pregnancy Class
1st trimester
Get all of your prenatal questions answered regarding nutrition, hydration, proper body mechanics, and common pregnancy myths. Learn what is and isn‘t safe during pregnancy and what to really expect over the coming months. This class also includes a brief orientation to Babymoon‘s program of care that covers how to contact your midwife and what resources are available to clients. Your partner is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Mind-Body Movement
begin in 2nd trimester, may attend multiple times
These classes will balance staying fit while pregnant with finding relaxation during the hard points of labor. Classes include elements of yoga, stretching, exercises for optimal fetal positioning, breathing, and positive affirmations. You only need to bring a yoga mat. Due to limited space, this class is for pregnant women only. Partners do not need to attend. This class is offered monthly and may be taken more than once.

Mother’s Blessing
3rd trimester
A Mother’s Blessing is a celebration of a woman’s transition into motherhood. It is a time to celebrate the journey of pregnancy, feel connected with your community, and emotionally prepare for labor. This event will be a safe space for women to come together as they end their journey in pregnancy and embark on this new chapter into motherhood. During this event, there will be affirmations, tea lighting, poem reading, and connection with other expectant mothers.

Papa-Prep Hour
offered monthly, may attend multiple times
Join us for Papa Prep Hour, a laid-back gathering for dads, led by dads. Topics rotate every four months and will cover pregnancy, birth, coming home and postpartum – all from a dad’s perspective. Discuss topics like how to be a supportive birth partner, how to pack a diaper bag, how to bond with your baby, and what to expect during the immediate days and weeks after baby comes home. This class is for expectant fathers; new fathers with babies in arms are also welcome to attend to share your knowledge and experience.
